The Inter-College Academic & Technical Contest is a unique competitive platform designed to assess academic consistency, subject mastery, and interview readiness. Unlike standard hackathons that focus solely on development, this contest tests the foundational strength of a Computer Science student. From Data Structures to Operating Systems, participants will demonstrate their analytical skills in a structured, fair, and high-intensity environment. This is the perfect simulation of a technical placement process. Why Participate? Performance Report: All participants receive a detailed "Marksheet" analyzing their strengths across CS domains. Interview Prep: The final rounds replicate top-tier technical interviews. Competition Structure: Phase 1: Online Qualification (The DSA Sprint) Platform: HackerRank Format: Online Coding Challenge Content: Advanced Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) problems. Selection: The Top 12 performers will qualify for the offline campus rounds. Phase 2: Offline Finals (On-Campus at IIIT Surat) Venue: IIIT Surat Campus Requirement: External participants must attend in person. Round 2A: The Academic Evaluation (The Gauntlet) Format: A simulated "Semester System" speed-test. Content: Participants will be assessed on 14 Core Subjects (2 subjects representing each of the 7 semesters). Subjects Covered: C/C++, OOPs, Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Compiler Design, Theory of Computation, and Discrete Math. Scoring: Semester-wise SGPA and Final CGPA calculation. Round 2B: The Technical Interview (The Viva) Selection: Top scorers from the Academic Evaluation advance here. Format: 1-on-1 Technical Interview with Faculty/Experts. Criteria: Depth of subject knowledge, problem-solving intuition, and communication skills. Rewards and Prizes: Winner: Cash Prize + Certificate Runner-Up: Cash Prize + Certificate Performance Report: All finalists receive a generated technical marksheet. Eligibility & Guidelines: Eligibility: Open to all Undergraduate students from recognized colleges. Team Size: Individual Participation. Conduct: Unfair means or misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification.
