The Online Zonals of HackArena 2.0, the flagship hackathon of Ignite Room, is being conducted to provide participants an opportunity to compete and qualify for the HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale in Delhi.
This round will be conducted completely online and will focus on innovation in the domain of Generative and Agentic AI. Participating teams will submit their ideas, develop prototypes, and present their solutions virtually before a panel of judges and mentors.
Selected teams from the online round will advance to the 24-hour HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale in Delhi, where finalists from different cities across India will compete.
Generative & Agentic AI:
Participants are encouraged to develop innovative applications using Generative AI models, AI agents, autonomous workflows, and intelligent systems that solve real-world problems and create meaningful impact.
Eligibility:
The hackathon is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Participants must register as a team of minimum 2 and maximum 4 to participate in the hackathon.
Teams must complete the online submission round to qualify for the final online judging round.
Participants may be asked to present a valid college ID card during verification.
Team Size:
Teams must consist of 2–4 members.
Participants cannot be part of multiple teams in the same or different HackArena rounds.
All team members must be registered during the application process.
Competition Structure:
Round 1: Online Idea Submission
The first stage of HackArena 2.0 Online Qualifier Round will be an online idea submission round.
Teams are required to submit a PPT/PDF presentation describing their proposed solution. The submission should clearly outline:

Submissions will be evaluated by expert mentors based on innovation, clarity of approach, technical feasibility, and potential impact.
Shortlisted teams will move on to the final online judging round.
Round 2: Final Online Judging Round
Shortlisted teams will participate in the final online judging round.
During this stage:
Teams will present their prototype, progress, or working demo to a panel of judges and mentors. Judging will be conducted online through dedicated 10-minute presentation slots.
Teams will be informed beforehand and will be able to select their preferred judging slot.
Participants may receive feedback and guidance from mentors during the process.
The top teams from the online qualifier round will qualify for the HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale in Delhi.

This round will be conducted completely online.
Teams selected for the HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale in Delhi will receive accommodation and food during the final hackathon event.
Important Rules:
Teams are allowed to participate in only one HackArena qualifying round.
Participation in multiple rounds using different teams is strictly prohibited.
If any participant is found to have registered or participated in multiple rounds with different teams, the involved teams will be disqualified from the competition.
If any participant is found to have participated in any other HackArena 2.0 zonal round, their team will be disqualified immediately.
