Opportunity Description This pitching hackathon is designed for students who already have a ready-made project or working prototype and want to present it before a panel of judges. It provides a platform to showcase their idea, explain the problem their project solves, highlight its uniqueness, and demonstrate its real-world potential. The event will focus on innovation, clarity of thought, presentation skills, and the ability to answer judges’ questions confidently. Participants are required to come with a pre-built project. No project development will take place during the event. Each team will present its project through a structured pitch covering the problem statement, solution, features, feasibility, innovation, and expected impact. This hackathon is ideal for students who want to gain visibility, receive valuable feedback, and compete with other promising innovators. This will be a hybrid competition, allowing participation in both online and offline modes, as decided by the organizers. Format The total event duration will be 3 hours. Each team will be given: 7 minutes for presentation 3 minutes for Q&A by judges So, each team will have a total of 10 minutes. Eligibility Open to college students, as per the organizer’s preference Participants may register in teams of 2 members only Only ready-made projects/prototypes are allowed The project can belong to any domain such as technology, social impact, business, healthcare, sustainability, education, etc. Guidelines Participants must present only their own original project or a project they have genuinely worked on Teams must be present and ready before their allotted presentation slot, whether online or offline The pitch should clearly explain the problem, solution, innovation, and impact of the project Judges may ask questions related to the concept, execution, scalability, and practicality of the solution Inter-college team participation is allowed Inter-specialization team participation is allowed Team size: 2 members Number of rounds: 1 round (Pitching + Q&A) Rules Participants must bring a ready-made project or prototype before the start of the event Each participating team must consist of 2 members only No new building or coding during the competition will be considered part of the evaluation The decision of the judges will be final and binding Teams must adhere strictly to the time limit. Extra time may lead to deduction of marks or interruption by the judges Any form of plagiarism, false claims, or misrepresentation of the project may lead to disqualification Participants must maintain proper decorum and professionalism throughout the event The organizing team reserves the right to make necessary changes to the event structure if required.
