Competition Description:
PixelCraft – UI/UX Design Challenge is a fast-paced UI/UX design sprint conducted as part of InnovateX 4.0.
The event challenges participants to design intuitive, modern, and user-centric digital interfaces within a limited timeframe using industry-standard tools.
Participants will receive real-world application or website references at the beginning of the event.
Teams must either design a completely new interface or redesign and improve an existing user experience using modern UI/UX principles.
The competition simulates a real-world product design sprint, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and structured thinking under time constraints.
Teams will create their designs using Figma, develop user flows, UI components, and high-fidelity screens, and present their design decisions to the judging panel.
Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized institutions.
Students from any specialization or department may participate.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Each team must consist of exactly 4 members (no more, no less).

Registration Details:
External Participants: ₹599 per team
Presidency University Students: ₹150 per participant
Competition Format:
Round 1 – Design Sprint
Teams will receive real-world problem statements or product references at the beginning of the event.
Each team must select one problem statement and develop a complete UI/UX solution using Figma.
Teams must design:
Wireframes
UI Components
User Flow
High-Fidelity Screens
Duration: 6 Hours
Round 2 – Final Presentation
Teams will present their design solution to the judges.
The presentation must explain:
Problem understanding
Design process
User experience improvements
Key UI/UX decisions
Presentation Duration: 10–20 minutes per team

Tools & Platform:
Primary design platform: Figma
Participants must bring their own laptops.
Internet access will be provided at the venue.
Rules of the Competition:
Teams must consist of exactly 4 members.
All designs must be created entirely from scratch.
Pre-built templates, copied designs, or downloaded UI kits are not allowed.
AI-generated designs or automated UI generation tools are strictly prohibited.
All work must be completed within the given time limit during the event.
Teams must submit their Figma design link before the deadline.
Late submissions will not be evaluated.
Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
