HealthML Challenge is an online student hackathon focused on applying machine learning and data science to real-world healthcare problems. Modern healthcare generates vast amounts of data, yet many clinical, operational and public health challenges remain unsolved. This hackathon invites students to design intelligent solutions that improve outcomes for patients, clinicians and communities. From predictive modelling and medical NLP to digital health applications and responsible AI systems, participants will explore how technology can create meaningful impact in healthcare. We value thoughtful problem selection, technical rigour and realistic solutions over flashy demos. Projects should be evidence-based, ethically responsible and practically deployable. HealthML Challenge is a space to learn, collaborate and build AI that truly matters. Get started by registering for the hackathon on Devpost, forming a team (1–4 students) or participating solo, choosing a healthcare challenge you care about, building an AI, machine learning or data-driven solution, submitting your project with code, documentation and a short demo, and presenting your work to judges to receive feedback.
