Eligibility Criteria & Team Formulation: Please refer to the list of eligible institutes. Team members in a team can also be from different institutes/ year of graduation/ specialization/ courses. Graduation Year: 2027 and 2028 Degree: B. Tech/M. Tech/Integrated Dual Degree/MCA. Eligible branches include Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Circuital (electrical/electronics), and affiliated branches. (Affiliated branches may include, but are not limited to: Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.) 6.5 CGPA and above throughout in undergraduation. Each team must be made up of two-three members. A participant is required to collaborate with a minimum of one more participant to form a team. Participants can be members of one team only. The Amazon jury will make the final decision about the winners and it will be binding. Each of the team members have to be individually eligible as per the criteria mentioned to move to the coding challenge stage. Please Note: CGPA details are mandatory for all participating team members. Competition Structure: Round 1: Coding Challenge All eligible teams must participate in a 100-minute proctored Coding Challenge that includes coding questions and GenAI-based MCQs. Each team member must individually attempt and clear the coding challenge. The challenge will be proctored to ensure fair participation, and any participant found using unfair means will be disqualified. Shortlisted teams will be released on the leaderboard post the assessment. Round 2: Virtual 48 Hours Hackathon Day 0 (12th June 2026) – Kickoff: The hackathon journey begins with a live Kick-Off Webinar. Amazon leaders will unveil the official problem statements. Participants get a chance to engage in live Q&A sessions before the hackathon begins. Day 1 & 2 (13 & 14th June 2026) – Build Phase: Teams will continue developing, iterating, and refining their solutions throughout the hackathon. As part of the submission process, teams must submit: Project Document Demo Video Working Prototype Day 3 (15th June 2026) – Submission Teams must submit the Project Document, Demo Video, Working Prototype and an active live link through Unstop. Round 3: Grand Finale Top teams shortlisted from the 48-Hour Virtual Hackathon will earn the opportunity to participate in an exclusive mentorship program with Amazon tech leaders, gaining valuable guidance to refine and strengthen their solutions. On the day of the Grand Finale, shortlisted teams will present their ideas to jury members from various Amazon Businesses, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon Devices, Amazon Pay, and many more. The Grand Finale will be held in person, offering participants a unique opportunity to interact directly with Amazon leaders and showcase their innovations.
