Authorized to Act: AI Agents with Auth0

$10K worth of prizes will be shared among our hackathon participants. Auth0 is sponsoring the Authorized to Act hackathon to solve the "trust deficit" currently holding back AI agents from true production readiness. While LLM reasoning has advanced rapidly, most agents remain confined to sandboxes because managing secure access to a user’s digital life—like GitHub, Slack, and banking—is a massive security and infrastructure burden. By providing a framework for Secure Tool Calling, Agent Identity, and the emerging Model Context Protocol (MCP), Auth0 is becoming the foundational identity layer that allows agents to move beyond RAG and uncontrolled tool use.
