The competition challenges students to transform creative ideas into real technology solutions and present them in front of experienced judges through multiple competitive rounds.
Participants will battle through three intense elimination rounds that test:

Round 1 – Online Screening + PPT Submission
₹50 per team
Offline Rounds (Only for shortlisted teams)

Competition Structure
IGNITE 2026 consists of three competitive rounds designed to test innovation, execution, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Round 1 – Online PPT Screening
Teams must submit a well-structured PowerPoint presentation explaining their project idea and proposed solution.
Judges will evaluate:
Problem clarity and real-world relevance
Innovation and uniqueness of the idea
Technical feasibility of the solution
Scalability and future potential
Clarity and quality of presentation
Top 30 teams will be shortlisted for the offline competition.
Round 2 – Technical Scouting (Offline)
Shortlisted teams will present a live working prototype or demo of their project to the judges.
This round focuses on technical depth and execution.
Evaluation Criteria:
Execution quality and system stability
Technical complexity and integrations
Architecture design and implementation logic
Domain knowledge and problem solving
Originality of the solution
Top 10 teams will advance to the Grand Finale.
Round 3 – Shark Tank Style Grand Finale
The final round transforms the competition into a startup pitch battlefield.
Finalist teams will deliver:
3-minute startup style pitch
2-minute Q&A session with judges
