Event Overview:
ByteVerse 1.0 is a 24-hour National-Level Hackathon conducted under the theme “Building the AI-Driven Digital Universe.” The hackathon is centered around the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence in building intelligent digital ecosystems. As AI continues to redefine industries and everyday experiences, this hackathon challenges participants to develop innovative, scalable, and impactful AI-driven software solutions.
The focus is strictly on software-based AI solutions, enabling participants to design, prototype, and deploy solutions that are practical, efficient, and socially impactful. ByteVerse 1.0 provides a platform for aspiring innovators to transform ideas into intelligent applications within 24 hours — pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve.

Venue: The ICFAI University, Dehradun
Rewards: Prize Pool worth ₹1,00,000
Eligibility & Registration Details:
Participation is open to Undergraduates and Postgraduates students from diverse domains including B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc., B.Com, etc.
Each participant can register in only one team.
The registration fee for ByteVerse 1.0 is ₹800 per team.
The registration fee is applicable only to shortlisted teams.

Team Details:
Each team must consist of exactly four members.
Teams with fewer or more than four members will not be allowed.
All team members should be from same college and can be from different streams.
No member substitution after registration closes.
Cross-team participation is strictly prohibited.
Each team can submit only one project.
Certificates: Provided to all participants.
Accommodation & Meals: Provided for all participants.
Project Requirements:
The solution must be an AI/ML-based software application.
Hardware prototypes are strictly prohibited.
Projects must be developed during the hackathon duration only.
Pre-built, previously submitted, copied, purchased, or externally generated projects are strictly prohibited.
Any violation of these guidelines will result in immediate disqualification.
Development Rules:
Coding starts only after an official announcement.
Use of open-source tools, APIs, and datasets is permitted.
Internet access is allowed strictly for research, documentation, and APIs.
External mentorship during the 24-hour period is strictly prohibited.
Any violation or unfair practice will result in immediate disqualification.
Judging Criteria:
Creativity & Innovation: Originality and inventiveness in addressing challenges
Problem Solving Under Pressure: Ability to think quickly and adapt solutions within tight timeframes
Marketing Pitch Quality: Clarity, persuasiveness, and alignment with the startup scenario
Team Coordination: Seamless collaboration and clear role distribution within the team
The judges’ decisions are final and non-negotiable.
No arguments or appeals will be entertained.
Disqualification Grounds:
A team will be disqualified if:
Team size is not exactly 4 members.
The project is not AI-based.
Plagiarism or pre-built solutions are detected.
Misconduct, indiscipline, or false information is identified.
No prior warning will be issued in cases of serious violations.
Participant Declaration:
By registering for ByteVerse 1.0, participants agree to follow all rules, accept the judges’ decisions, maintain ethical conduct, and uphold the reputation of The ICFAI University, Dehradun. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend the rules if required.
