Hack & Break: Hack & Break is an online innovation challenge that invites participants to present creative technology solutions based on emerging fields such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Cybersecurity. The objective of this challenge is to encourage students to explore advanced AI concepts and develop innovative ideas that solve real-world problems. Participants are required to submit their project idea along with relevant technical details and GitHub repository (if available) through the Unstop platform. Themes: Participants must submit their ideas under one of the following themes: Generative AI: Projects that utilize AI models capable of generating content such as text, images, code, or multimedia. Agentic AI: Autonomous AI systems that can plan, reason, and execute tasks with minimal human intervention. Cybersecurity: Innovative solutions designed to improve digital security, detect threats, protect privacy, and secure systems. Competition Format: This challenge consists of one online submission round. Round 1 – Idea Submission: Participants must submit the following details through Unstop: Project Title Abstract / Idea Description (150–300 words) Selected Theme Upload File GitHub Repository Link (optional) Presentation (PPT) explaining the idea (optional) Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, technical approach, and impact. Eligibility: Open to college students from any discipline Inter-college teams are allowed Inter-specialization teams are allowed Team size: 1–4 members Prizes & Rewards: Exciting Cash Prizes for Top Winners Winner – Cash Prize + Certificate of Excellence Runner-up – Cash Prize + Certificate of Excellence Participation Certificates will be provided to all valid participants who successfully submit their project ideas. Selected outstanding ideas may also receive special recognition from the organizing team. Rules: All submissions must be original work. Plagiarism or copied ideas will lead to disqualification. The GitHub repository link must be accessible to judges if provided. Participants must follow the theme guidelines. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
