New Line: Toronto to Symposium 2026

Socratica is taking over the region of Waterloo for a weekend-long celebration of making - featuring 70+ demos, from live music to omnidirectional treadmills! Beginners and experts, locals and friends from afar, are flying in to share their work! This isn’t a hackathon or pitch event — it’s an open house for hidden gems in art, tech, engineering, and everything in between. New Line is a transportation service that will be bringing you directly from Toronto to the Symposium theatre on March 21, at 3:30PM, and returning at 12:00AM for a round trip on Saturday. Additionally, there will be a returning bus on March 22, at 5:00pm for a weekend round trip. Pick-up and return will be at the New Stadium in Toronto. Please aim to arrive at New Stadium well before 3:30PM to avoid missing the line as it departs. Departure will not be delayed. Boarding will begin at 3:00PM and the line will depart at 3:30PM sharp. Expected time of arrival at the Centre in the Square is 5:00PM. Saturday Return: The returning line will pick up passengers directly outside of Centre in the Square. Departure will not be delayed. Boarding will begin at 10:00PM and the line will leave at 10:30PM sharp. Expected time of arrival back at New Stadium is 12:00AM. Sunday Return: The returning line will pick up passengers directly outside of the Tannery Building. Departure will not be delayed. Boarding will begin at 4:30PM and the line will return at 5:00PM sharp. About New New is a media company that reveals depth. New Stadium is the collaborative third space in which we enable creatives, technologists, academics to host events and gather with each other. New Studio is our production arm in which we work directly with individuals and companies who we believe are working at the frontier of their respective domains to help express their vision through filmmaking. To board the New Line, you must have your ticket (Luma QR code) ready to scan upon boarding. Last minute purchase of tickets cannot be guaranteed so please plan accordingly.
