About The Competition: Vihaan 9.0 is one of North India’s largest student-run hackathons, organized by IEEE DTU. The Hardware Track focuses on transforming innovative ideas into tangible prototypes that solve real-world problems. Participants collaborate in teams to design and build functional hardware solutions within an intensive 24-hour challenge. The event encourages creativity, technical experimentation, and hands-on engineering experience. Event Format: Total Duration: 24 Hours. Ideation Phase: 8 hours dedicated to brainstorming and conceptualizing solutions. Build Phase: 8 hours focused on developing the hardware prototype. Testing & Iteration Phase: 8 hours for testing, refining, and improving the prototype. Focus Areas: Internet of Things (IoT) systems. Embedded devices and hardware systems. Robotics and automation solutions. Smart infrastructure and innovative hardware technologies. Team Size: Maximum of 4 participants per team.
