Nine premier IITs—Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Roorkee, Varanasi (BHU), and Hyderabad—come together once again to present Convolve 4.0, one of the most awaited AI/ML hackathons of the year.
Open to people worldwide, Convolve 4.0 challenges participants to solve real-world, industry-grade problems using advanced techniques in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Data Analytics.
All registrations for Convolve 4.0 are individual registrations. Track selection and team formation (where applicable) will take place only after the completion of the screening round.
What’s New in Convolve 4.0
This year’s edition introduces three specialized tracks, each designed to test deep domain expertise:
Generative AI Track
Multi-Agent Intelligence Systems (MAS)
Quantitative (Quant) Finance Track
Each track carries a ₹6,00,000 prize pool, making it a massive ₹18,00,000 total prize pool for Convolve 4.0.

Rules & Guidelines
All registrations are individual registrations only
Participants can register without forming a team initially
Track selection will happen only after Round 1 results
Each team/participant can choose only ONE track
Quantitative Finance Track: Individual participation only (no teams allowed)
Generative AI & Multi-Agent Systems Tracks: Participants may continue individually or form a team of 2 members
Team formation (where applicable) will be done after problem statements are released
Final team details will be recorded through the Round 2 submission form
Cross-institution collaboration is allowed
No registration fee
Offline finale participation is mandatory for shortlisted teams
Late submissions will not be accepted
Rule violations will lead to disqualification
The organizing team reserves the right to modify rules and timelines
