About the Hackathon The Afro-IP Law & Tech Hackathon 2026 is a multidisciplinary innovation challenge designed to bring together developers, designers, law students, policy thinkers and innovators to solve real-world problems at the intersection of artificial intelligence, law and governance, grounded in legal and policy frameworks. After the hackathon, participants will transition into a structured training and mentorship program by The Udara Project, where they will learn how to leverage AI to build scalable and deployable solutions for the African market.
