Are you ready to decode, decipher, and compete in a high-intensity, tech-driven treasure hunt?
Bit by Bit 2.0 – Decode the Unknown is an advanced campus-wide challenge that combines binary decoding, ASCII-based puzzles, logic reasoning, and real-time exploration. Participants must solve layered digital and physical clues under time pressure to unlock hidden checkpoints and progress through the game.
The event is designed to test analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and decision-making under constraints, all within a competitive and engaging environment.
What’s New This Year:
To introduce strategic depth, each team will receive one Power Card, which can be used once during the event:
Hint Boost – Get an additional hint
Time Freeze – Pause the timer for 2 minutes
Skip Half Puzzle – Skip a step in a puzzle (2-minute penalty applied)
Event Details:
Team Size: 2–4 members per team
Maximum Teams: 15
Maximum Participants: 75
Eligibility: Open to all college students (Tech and Non-Tech)
Puzzle Types:
Binary to text decoding
ASCII-based location mapping
Logic grids and reasoning puzzles
Multi-layered problems combining binary, ASCII, and logic
Difficulty will increase progressively at each checkpoint.
Time Limit and Evaluation:
The event will be time-bound
Teams must solve and progress through checkpoints within the given duration
Winning Criteria:
The team that reaches the final destination with the maximum number of envelopes in the shortest time will be declared the winner
Rules and Regulations:
No external assistance (internet, mobile devices, or third-party help) is allowed
Incorrect final submission will result in direct disqualification
Power Cards can be used only once per team
Team members must stay together throughout the event
Any misconduct or interference with other teams will lead to disqualification
The decision of the judges will be final and binding
Important Notes:
Participants are expected to follow all campus guidelines and instructions from organizers
Fair play and discipline must be maintained throughout the event
