Welcome to the Zcash mini hackathon, an 18 hour hackathon to help build the machinery of freedom.We have 50 ZEC in prizes, which as of writing this is a 10k+ USD prize pool, and network with high quality Zcash builders, working on the core of the protocol and its expansion.Two tracks:- Zcash NS: Leverage Zcash to help improve the quality of life of the NS residents.- Zcash general track: make projects that helps Zcash become more private, scalable or useableLocation: NS Library at 7 PMWe kick off the event at the library, we will have mentors there to help you ideate and discuss technical challenges, while you are free to hack on this from anywhere in NS.We meet again at 1 PM the next day, Friday at the library to go through the submissions and the best teams get to pitch their ideas on NS demo day at 3pm :)The prize distribution:Zcash NS track ( 25 ZEC ): - 1st prize: 15 ZEC - 2nd prize: 10 ZEC - 3rd prize: 5 ZEC Zcash general track ( 25 ZEC ): - 1st prize: 15 ZEC - 2nd prize: 10 ZEC - 3rd prize: 5 ZEC Our expectation from this even is seeing cool ideas and POCs come out in both the tracks, find high quality talented builders we can support, and also introducing new people to the mission of Zcash.
