HACKOUTSAV 2026 is a 24-hour national level hackathon organized by D. Y. Patil School of Engineering & Management (DYPSEM). The event aims to bring together innovative minds from across the country to build impactful solutions to real-world problems.
Participants will collaborate, innovate, and develop working prototypes within 24 hours while competing for an exciting prize pool of ₹60,000.
Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized colleges across India.
Students from any engineering or technology discipline can participate.
Participants must register in teams of 2–4 members.
Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Hackathon Format:
The hackathon will consist of two stages:
Round 1 – Idea Submission (Online)
Teams must submit their problem statement and solution idea during registration.
Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, and impact.
Top 30–40 teams will be shortlisted for the final round.
Round 2 – 24-Hour Hackathon (Offline at DYPSEM)
Shortlisted teams will develop a working prototype or solution.
Teams will present their project to the judging panel at the end of the hackathon.

Rules:
Each team must have 2–4 members.
Teams must bring their own laptops and development tools.
Participants must develop the core solution during the hackathon.
Use of open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks is allowed.
Plagiarism or copying projects will lead to immediate disqualification.
Teams must submit source code, project presentation, and working demo before the deadline.
The decision of judges will be final.
