About the Event:
Tech Empire Quest is a board-game inspired technical team event where participants step into the roles of a company and compete to build their own tech empire. Combining strategy, engineering skills, and decision-making, teams navigate through 6 challenge zones across the campus, guided by a dice.
Totally 12 teams. 3 among them win cash prizes.
Each zone presents time-bound technical tasks designed to test core engineering knowledge, analytical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. Teams earn Tech Credits based on performance, which determine their progression and final ranking. The event concludes with an intense Final Showdown Round for top teams.
This event is perfect for students who enjoy problem-solving, strategy games, and real-world tech challenges.

Team Structure:
Team size: Exactly 5 members

Each member must take one fixed role:
CEO
Manager
Team Lead
Junior Analyst
Intern
Each role receives domain-specific tasks, encouraging collaboration and strategic planning within the team.
Event Format:
Total Zones: 6
Movement between zones is decided using a dice
Each zone contains engineering-based challenges
Teams earn Tech Credits based on:
Task completion time
Accuracy
After completing all zones, qualifying teams advance to the Final Showdown Round
Duration:
Total event duration: 3 hours
Teams must move to the next zone immediately after completing their task

Rules & Guidelines:
All tasks are strictly engineering-based
No sharing of answers or discussion between teams
Any form of malpractice or external assistance is prohibited
Mobile phone usage is allowed only with coordinator permission
Internet usage will be provided only if instructed
Judges’ and coordinators’ decisions are final and binding
Evaluation Criteria:
Objective evaluation based on completion time and accuracy
Scores are recorded and monitored by event coordinators
Final rankings are decided based on total Tech Credits earned
Equipment Requirements:
Each team must bring at least 3 laptops
Required software/tools will be informed on the spot if needed
