RedShield 2026
RedShield 2026, a groundbreaking 25-hour National level hackathon focused on cybersecurity. This event invites innovators from across India to develop creative, practical solutions to real-world cyber threats, blending technical expertise with innovative thinking.
Starting April 06, 2026, registrations are open to students passionate about cybersecurity. Each team (1–4 members) will tackle cybersecurity-focused problem statements, integrating ethical hacking, secure development, and defensive strategies.
The event will take place in-person at MSAJCE, Chennai.
The motto of RedShield—"Fortifying the Digital Frontier"—reflects the need for modern defenses against evolving cyber challenges.
The hackathon promises cash prizes, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge cybersecurity problem-solving. Participants will also gain opportunities for incubation and internships.

Team Formation
Interested students form teams of 1–4 members
No maximum teams per institution

All work must be original and done on-site during the 25 hours
Pre-existing code allowed only for open-source libraries (declare in submission)
Conduct
Follow code of ethics—no actual hacking, malware creation, or unauthorized access

Internet access allowed for research only
Submissions
Submit code/repo link, PPT, and prototype demo at each phase
