About the Event
RESEM (Research Seminar) is a 30-hour research-based hackathon for students who are curious about how research really works. Guided by faculty mentors, teams will explore, develop, and present their research findings along with a condensed research paper. Whether you're a first-time researcher or a seasoned academic, this is your stage.
Date: 18th – 19th April 2026
Duration: 30 Hours
Eligibility:
Open to all students.
No prior research experience required.
Format:
Teams of 2–5 will be assigned or choose from a set of research domains.
They will work on developing a condensed research paper with mentor support and present their findings to a judging panel.
Specific round details and mechanics will be shared with registered participants only.
Rules:
Teams must consist of 2–5 members.
All work must be original and completed during the event duration.
Teams must submit a condensed research paper as part of their final deliverable.
Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
Judges' decisions are final.
Process
Registration → Topic Selection → Research & Development (30 hrs) → Paper Submission → Presentation to Judges
