A 24-Hour Global Virtual Hackathon by SourcifyIN
COSMOHACK 1 is a thrilling 24-hour virtual hackathon organized by SourcifyIN, a student-driven tech community built to empower young innovators. The event brings together developers, designers, and thinkers to collaborate, innovate, and build impactful tech solutions for real-world challenges.
About the Hackathon
COSMOHACK 1 is more than a competition; it’s a platform to learn, create, and showcase your skills. Participants will engage in problem-solving, receive mentorship from industry experts, and work on cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This year’s edition introduces two competitive rounds that test both ideation and execution.
Rounds:
Round 1: Idea Submission (PPT Round)
Participants will submit a PowerPoint presentation describing their proposed project idea, problem statement, and solution approach. ( PPT format will be available during round )
The PPT should include key aspects such as:
Problem statement
Proposed solution and technology stack
Implementation plan
Innovation and expected impact
Top-performing teams will qualify for the final hackathon round.
Round 2: Final Hackathon (Prototype Round)
Qualified teams will participate in a 24-hour virtual hackathon to develop a working prototype of their proposed solution.
Teams will submit:
Source code and documentation
A short demo video showcasing the project functionality
Hosted url ( good to have )
Mentors will guide the teams during this phase.
Tracks:
There will be five thematic tracks focusing on emerging and impactful domains.

Web3 (Project can be made separately apart from main project or as a main project)
Sustainability
Healthcare
Note: For the Web3 track, If a team is selected for the second round, they may choose to submit a Web3 project built using the Aptos blockchain—either as their main project ( If it is in round 1 ppt ) or as an additional (second) project. To qualify for this track, Aptos must be used as the blockchain for any Web3-based submission.(Top 10 Full stack Projects based on Aptos will receive $25 Bounty.)
Eligibility:
Open to all college students across any stream or specialization.
Individuals or teams of up to 4 members can participate.
Inter-college teams are allowed and encouraged.
Inter-specialization teams are also welcome—diversity leads to better ideas!

Registration: October 13 – November 10, 2025
Round 1 (PPT Submission): November 10 – November 14, 2025
Approvals roll out: November 17, 2025
Mentoring Sessions: November 18 – 19, 2025
Round 2 (Final Hackathon – Prototype Submission): 19-20th December, 2025

Format:
The hackathon will be entirely virtual and will run for 24 hours.
Teams can use any programming language, framework, or tool of their choice.
Collaboration and communication will take place through online platforms.
All submissions will be made digitally. ( Join our communication channels for updates )
Rules:
All work must be original and developed during the event.
Use of open-source tools or libraries is allowed, but the core implementation must be original.
Teams must follow the Unstop Code of Conduct.
Plagiarism or use of prebuilt solutions is strictly prohibited.
Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
Respect intellectual property and maintain professional ethics throughout the event.
Judging Criteria:
Projects will be evaluated based on:
Innovation & Creativity: Originality of the idea and uniqueness of the approach.
Impact & Relevance: How effectively the project addresses real-world problems.
Technical Feasibility: Implementation quality and technical depth.
User Experience: Ease of use, interface design, and accessibility.
Presentation & Demo: Clarity, explanation, and overall demonstration quality.
Duration:
Round 1 (PPT Round): 5 days window for submission.
Round 2 (Final Hackathon): 24 hours of continuous virtual session.
