Our theme for this hackathon is Social Justice so your goal in the hackathon is to build software that solves some issue relating to our theme. The purpose of this hackathon is to provide an opportunity for students to utilize their skills in web development, app development, etc., and create a final product that aligns with our theme. Throughout the event, we will provide workshops and other small events to provide some assistance. These workshops range from a variety of background knowledge, including React, Database Usage (Firebase), How to use API’s, Basic Python, HTML, and Machine Learning. Our Mission: This hackathon will showcase the talents of students at High School North, along with encouraging innovation and creativity in the fields of technology and software development. HSN Hacks is open to students from any school district provided that there is an adult chaperone present for each group from an out-of-district school.
