Physical AI Showcase - ROS By The Bay @ NVIDIA GTC
Looking for an NVIDIA GTC after party? We've got one lined up for you! We're teaming up with our colleagues at Circuit Launch, Silicon Valley Robotics, UFB and Solo Tech to bring you a very special edition of our ROS By-the-Bay meetup on March 18th! We have five fantastic guest speakers lined up: 🤖 Angus Pacala and Ussama Naal from Ouster Stereolabs will be on hand to give an overview of Ouster and Stereolabs products and their future roadmap. They will also discuss their open-source tooling and support for ROS and how this all relates back to physical AI. 🤖 Karsten Patzwaldt from NVIDIA Robotics will join us to discuss how ROS 2 Lyric Luth will add a new API under rosidl::Buffer, offering support for accelerator-backed data like tensors or images directly in ROS. We will provide an overview of how it works, and what developers will be able to do with the new APIs. 🤖 Jaime Machuca, from The Toro Company will discuss how Toro is using ROS in production with their autonomous lawn mowers and his personal work on a replica Disney BDX robot. 🦾 Dhruv Diddi, from Solo Tech, is making Physical AI Dev Tools discussing what it takes to develop production ready systems. Solo Tech is organizing an exhibition of the winners from recent Physical AI Hackathon in San Francisco.
