Dev Duel is an intensive development hackathon where participants collaborate to design, code, and deploy innovative solutions to real-world problems. It challenges technical proficiency, creativity, and teamwork under time constraints, fostering rapid prototyping and problem-solving skills. Participants showcase their coding expertise, UI/UX design, and project management abilities in a competitive environment. Competition Structure: Round 1: Online Round Participants are required to submit their application’s source code in a GitHub repository (link). The repository must be documented with a README, including instructions to configure the environment and run the application. A short 3-5 minute video explaining their project must also be submitted (link). Round 2: Grand Finale (Offline) Final offline round on campus, upon selection through shortlisting online round to present their projects and showcase their work. Rewards and Benefits: Prizes worth ₹40,000 Certificates from Elan & nVision, IIT Hyderabad. Eligibility: Open to all individuals Team size: 1–4 members Participants may join only one team Rules: Teams will submit their final projects as GitHub repositories. The repository must include a README.md file with setup instructions. Teams may optionally deploy their projects to earn bonus points. All work must be original and created during the hackathon. Pre-existing projects will be disqualified.
