Research to Real Systems: Inside IFM’s Foundation Model Stack
IFM × AI Valley @ Carnegie Mellon
How do frontier foundation models move from research papers to real systems?
Join the Institute of Foundation Models (IFM) at MBZUAI and AI Valley for an evening exploring how modern AI systems are designed, deployed, and applied in the real world.
This event brings together CMU researchers, students, and technical builders for a deep dive into frontier AI systems—from the development of foundation models to real-world deployment.
The program will feature:
A technical talk on research-to-deployment pipelinesA live demo and hands-on workshop with IFM’s PAN world modelNetworking and recruiting conversations with researchers from IFM’s global labs
We invite you to join the MBZUAI × CMU WhatsApp community, where we’ll share internship and job opportunities, early access to future IFM models and APIs, and updates on upcoming U.S. campus events and hackathons.
