All That You Need to Know About The BVCOE Coders Cup:
About the Event:
The Coders Cup is a Competitive Programming (CP) and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) based competition designed to test participants’ problem-solving abilities under time constraints.
This competition challenges individuals and teams to solve CP problems efficiently within a strict time crunch, evaluating logical thinking, speed, and accuracy.

Phase 1: The Brute Phase - Trial of Logic (Online)
Date: 5th March
Hosted on an Online Quiz Platform
The Qualifiers Round will consist of an online DSA + Aptitude MCQ test.
Participants must solve 40 questions within a given time limit.
The Top 50 teams with the highest scores will qualify for Round 2.
Qualified teams will advance to the next round scheduled on 17th March.
Phase 2 : The Better Phase - Rise of Precision (Offline)
Date: 17th March
Venue: Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering
Qualified teams will participate in a 2-hour contest.
Based on performance, the Top 16 teams will move on to Round 3 (Final Round).
Phase 3: The Optimal Phase - Last Submission (Offline)
Date: 18th March
Venue: Bharati Vidyapeeth College
This round follows a duel-based elimination format.
The 16 qualified teams will be paired into 8 duels.
Each pair will compete on a single CP question.
The winning team advances, and the losing team is eliminated.
The Top 8 teams will then duel in pairs of 4.
The process continues in elimination format until the final winner is determined.
Rules & Guidelines:
Each team must consist of 1 or 2 members.
Participants must carry their own laptops and chargers for the offline rounds.
Any form of external assistance or unfair means will result in immediate elimination.
All offline rounds will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering.
The decisions of the organizing committee will be final.
