In Random(Compile), order of the lines of the compiler is collapsed in a random way, in which the players have to develop their code according to the serial number of each line of the compiler.
This year, we’re introducing a dedicated competition platform where the main event will be hosted, along with a preliminary online contest to help participants familiarize themselves with the format, rules, and environment before the actual challenge and get shortlisted for the next round.
Eligibility: Open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students only.
Rules & Guidelines:
Feasible Programming Language: Python, C, C++, Java.
Preliminary Contest: A practice round will be conducted on the event platform before the main competition.
Time Limit: Each round will have a strict time limit (1hr:30min), and submissions after the timer ends will not be accepted.
Communication: Participants can only discuss within their teams. Any interaction with others during the event will result in disqualification.
Technical Issues: If technical issues arise, participants must inform the organizers immediately. Time adjustments will be at the discretion of the event coordinators.
Prohibition of Malpractice:
Any form of malpractice, including the use of external resources such as the Internet during the round, will result in immediate disqualification.
Manipulation of compiler will not be entertained.
In case of a tie, the time taken to submit the solution will be considered as the judging factor.
Format:
Prelims: Conducted Online in our coding platform.
Main Event: Conducted offline on our campus using the official Random(Compile) platform.
Final Round: Top finalists compete for the prize pool.
Random(Compile) Platform: https://randomcompile.vercel.app/ (Practice to get familiarized with the coding style).
