The Sustainability Hackathon 2026 invites participants to reimagine agriculture through smart farming technologies, climate-resilient practices, energy-efficient systems, and circular food networks. The focus is on connecting the entire agricultural value chain from production and processing to distribution and consumption into a sustainable, low-carbon, and regenerative ecosystem. More than just a competition, this hackathon is a platform to design solutions that empower farmers, protect ecosystems, and strengthen food systems for the long term. From farm to future, innovation begins here. Focus Areas Participants are encouraged to develop solutions in areas including, but not limited to: Smart & Precision Farming Technologies Circular Food Systems & Waste-to-Value Models Climate-Resilient and Low-Carbon Agriculture Energy-Efficient Agricultural Practices Transparent and Sustainable Agri-Supply Chains Teams are also free to explore any other innovative ideas aligned with the theme. Objective The objective of this hackathon is to inspire participants to develop practical, scalable, and impactful solutions for sustainable agriculture and circular food networks. Top 5 teams will qualify for the next round. Round 2: Mentorship Shortlisted teams will be assigned professional mentors to refine their ideas, prototypes, implementation roadmap, financial feasibility, and potential challenges. Round 3: Hackathon (February 7, 2026) Deliverables: Teams will submit a detailed report and deliver a presentation outlining: Relevance of the idea Sustainability impact Implementation strategy Financial implications Evaluation: A panel of internal and external experts will evaluate the presentations and declare the Winner and Runner-Up of Sustainability Hackathon 2026.
