OFFGRID 1.0 is a high-energy, innovation-driven hackathon organized by CodeDecode Club and School of Computer Science, Engineering & Applications at D Y Patil International University, Akurdi, Pune. This event brings together passionate developers, designers, and problem-solvers to collaborate and build impactful solutions to real-world challenges.
Participants will work intensively in teams to design and develop prototypes using cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Web & Mobile Development, Data Science, Blockchain, and IoT. The hackathon emphasizes creativity, technical excellence, teamwork, and sustainable innovation aligned with global development goals.
Objectives
Encourage innovation and creative problem-solving
Provide hands-on experience in building real-world solutions
Foster collaboration, leadership, and teamwork
Promote development aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and POs
Enable students to apply technical skills in practical scenarios
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate students from all colleges/universities
Team size: 2 to 5 members
Inter-college teams are allowed

Round 1: Idea Submission (Online)
Teams must submit:
Team Details (Name, College, etc.)
Problem Statement (2–3 lines)
Pitch Deck (Max 10 slides, PDF, Format Attached Below)
The presentation must cover:
Problem Statement and Relevance
Technology Used and Integration
Sustainability and Long-Term Impact
Live Demo of Prototype
Scalability and Future Roadmap
Business Potential and Real-World Application
Top teams will qualify for the offline hackathon round.
Round 2: Offline Hackathon (On Campus)

All submissions must be original; plagiarism leads to disqualification
Teams must adhere to deadlines
