AI Hackathon Overview:
A competitive and collaborative event where artificial intelligence is used to solve real-life problems in a limited time.
Registration Details:
A team can consist of a single member, two members, or a maximum of three members.
Only a Team Leader should register on behalf of the whole team. Multiple registrations for the same team are not permitted.
Members can be from any discipline, college, or school, but must be within the age range of 15–24 years.
Registration Period: 28th February 2025 to 16th March 2025.

Theme: “AI for Everyday Impact: Solving Challenges That Matter to Everyone.”

AI for pollution monitoring and reduction
Efficient waste management and recycling solutions
Healthcare Access and Improvement:
Predicting and preventing diseases
Enhancing healthcare delivery in remote areas
Smart Cities and Infrastructure:
Optimizing public transportation
AI for traffic management and urban planning
Education for All:
Personalized learning for diverse demographics
AI-driven tools for bridging the digital divide
Civic Engagement and Governance:
Transparent systems to address corruption
AI for disaster management and resource allocation
Inclusive Technologies:
Tools for accessibility (e.g., for people with disabilities)
Language processing for regional and underrepresented languages
Note: Any topic can be chosen, but teams must demonstrate its “Everyday Impact.”
Competition Guidelines:
General:
Each team leader must submit a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) with a maximum of 15–20 slides.
PPTs will be evaluated based on professionalism, topic selection, and the impact of the idea locally or globally.
Finalists may need to stay at VNIT for the final round. Participants must arrange their own travel and accommodation; no financial assistance will be provided.
Deadline for PPT submission: 17th March 2025.
First Round – PPT Submission:
Each team leader must submit the PPT on the Unstop Portal containing:
Introduction: Introduce each group member and the designated leader, highlighting expertise.
Aim: Concisely state the objective of the project, ensuring clarity and relevance.
Topic Selection: Explain rationale behind choosing the specific topic, demonstrating its significance.
Problem Statement: Define the problem comprehensively, outlining the challenges addressed.
Solution: Present a detailed strategy, emphasizing innovation and practicality.
Technology Used: Describe technologies employed, including neural networks, libraries, datasets, and other relevant tools.
Future Aspects: Outline possible future directions related to the project.
Maximum slides: 15–20 (Exceeding will result in direct disqualification).
Teams may create a short video (max 10 mins) to present their idea.
Upload to YouTube or Google Drive and add the link on the last slide of the PPT.
Not compulsory but highly recommended.
Ensure the video link is set for global viewing (unlisted or public).
Deadline for submission: 17th March 2025.
Only teams that submit the PPT will be entitled to receive the “participation” certificate.
Offline Round:
Teams will be selected based on their chosen topic and PowerPoint presentation.
Selected teams will be invited to the VNIT campus for an offline round.
Accommodation will be provided on a paid basis; participants must fill a Google form beforehand.

Selection Criteria for Best PPT:
Professionalism in the presentation
Impact of the idea (local or global improvement)
Future aspects of the project (logical, original, and innovative)
