HackFusion is a 24-hour International hybrid hackathon jointly organized by IEEE SPIT and IEEE UMIT. The hackathon is designed to simulate real-world engineering pressure and encourage research-driven, high-impact solutions through collaboration and problem-solving.Indian teams will participate offline, while international teams will participate online.

Open to Indian and international participants
Students from all colleges/universities are eligible
Valid college/university ID is required
Team Rules:
Team size: 2–4 members
Inter-college teams are allowed
No team member changes allowed after registration
Each participant can be part of only one team

Mode: Hybrid

Registration & Shortlisting:
Registration deadline is same as Round 1 problem statement deadline.
Shortlisting is based on Round 1 PPT submission and team leader’s resume.
Only shortlisted teams will advance to the final hackathon.
If you are shortlisted for the Round 2 then you have to pay Registration fees- 500 rupees.
Rules:
Participants must bring their own laptops and required accessories.
Only original work is allowed (no pre-built or plagiarized projects).
Participants must follow timelines and IEEE code of conduct.
Judges’ and organisers’ decisions will be final and binding.
