Event Overview: Error 404 Hackathon is a 48-hour semi-offline innovation sprint where students, developers, and creators come together to build solutions that push the boundaries of technology. Our previous Hackathon has saw 500+ participants, 100+ projects, and industry judges from Meta, FedEx, and top startups, making it one of the most impactful student-driven hackathons in Mumbai. This edition is bigger, bolder, and packed with opportunities for student innovators.
Guidelines:
Eligibility:
Open to all college students across India.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-specialization teams are allowed (e.g., CS + BMS + Design).
No prior hackathon experience required.
Team Formation
Team size: 2-4 members.
Teams need to form before the event.
Format (Semi-Offline)
The hackathon will run in a hybrid format:
Day 1 (10th Dec): Offline at Jai Hind College, 9 AM - 4 PM
Night (10th Dec): Online release of Problem Statement 2
Day 2 (11th Dec): Offline presentations, 11 AM - 2 PM at Jai Hind
Problem Statements
Total of two problem statements, will be released,
Problem Statement 1 released on Day 1 (offline).
Problem Statement 2 released at night (online) for overnight building.
Rounds & Duration
Round 1 - Ideation & Prototype Development (Day 1-2)
Build your project based on the given problem statement.
Round 2 - Final Presentation (Day 2)
3-5 minute pitch + demo before the judges.
Total Duration: ~48 hours (with semi-offline participation flow).
Judging
Evaluations will be done by industry experts from top tech companies and startups.

Rules
Projects must be built during the hackathon only. Pre-built code is not allowed (except open-source libraries).
Plagiarism or submission of previously created work leads to disqualification.
All team members must be present for the final offline presentation.
Teams must adhere to the schedule and submission deadlines.
Decisions made by the judging panel will be final.
