Civic Hackathon Walkabout - Jackson Hill Main Street SID / MLK Greenville Join us for this working session where students participating in the JC Civic Hackathon Sustainability Session will be led on a Jackson Hill Main Street Special Improvement District (SID) Walkabout through the Greenville section of MLK Drive. This Walkabout is in preparation for the Civic Hackathon competition and is intended to provide sufficient context for students to develop design solutions on the day of the event which is intended to take place at NJCU Campus sometime in May. Only 20 students will be accepted to participate in this Prep Session and will also be the same 20 students SJC will work with at the JC Civic Hackathon / Sustainability Session when it is scheduled for sometime in May. This prep session will start at the Co-Work Space with some Dunkin' Donuts refreshments and progress to a Walkabout in the neighborhood led by Sustainable Jersey City that will highlight the analysis and recommendations from the Gensler JHMS Climate Justice Action Plan and wrap-up with a briefing back at the Co-Work Space at the EDC.
