Trust Everything, Everywhere: Deploying AI and multi-agent systems into the real world could be our defining challenge. Join us to explore making AI deployment safe, secure and trusted in an increasingly programmable cyber-physical reality. Engineers, researchers, scientists, and technologists across all fields welcome. Multi-disciplinary approaches to cyber-physical security are strongly encouraged – we want to see what happens when a cryptographer, a network defender and a computational biologist collaborate on securing a drone swarm, or an air traffic control system, or a self-driving biolab. This hackathon is intentionally open-ended. We'll have challenge statements, an adversarial testing ground for your agents, along with some hardware for you to experiment with. We're also arranging for experienced mentors and advisers across embodied intelligence, critical infrastructure, and cyber-physical security to give feedback as you iterate. But this is a broad opportunity space so what you build is up to you... Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Grand Prize, Technical Excellence Prize, Novelty Prize. We are holding a Frontiers Night on Cyber-Physical Trust on Tuesday 3rd March ahead of the hackathon. We'll have a series of live demos & technical talks, and ARIA Programme Director Alex Obadia will share his vision for the future of Trust Everything, Everywhere. Register to join. SoTA (the Society for Technological Advancement) is the cross-disciplinary community for Britain's most promising researchers, scientists, engineers and technologists. We identify and aggregate exceptional talent early in their trajectories, and cultivate optimism about technoscientific progress. ARIA (the Advanced Research + Invention Agency) is an R&D funding agency created to unlock technological breakthroughs that benefit everyone. Created by an Act of Parliament, and sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology, we fund teams of scientists and engineers to pursue research at the edge of what is scientifically and technologically possible. For more context, read this post by SoTA on unlocking cyber-physical potential and this programme thesis on scaling trust by ARIA.
