TraceBash CTF 2026 is a 24-hour online Jeopardy-style Capture The Flag (CTF) competition designed for students, cybersecurity enthusiasts, and professionals from around the world. Whether you're taking your first steps into cybersecurity or you're an experienced competitor, TraceBash CTF offers an exciting opportunity to test your skills, learn new techniques, and compete against players globally.
Organized by Team TraceBash, one of India's top-ranked CTF teams, this event features a diverse set of realistic cybersecurity challenges inspired by modern attack and defense scenarios.

Challenges are designed to test technical knowledge, logical reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving abilities under time constraints.
Platform & Community:
Participants are strongly encouraged to join the Discord server, where announcements, event updates, support, and public challenge hints will be posted throughout the competition.
Rules & Regulations:
Participation is open worldwide.
Participants may compete individually or as a team.
All flag submissions must be made through the official CTF platform.
Sharing flags, solutions, or challenge-specific assistance with other participants is prohibited.
Attacking event infrastructure, attempting denial-of-service attacks, or abusing unintended platform vulnerabilities is strictly forbidden.
Any behavior deemed unfair or against the spirit of the competition may result in penalties or disqualification.
Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if required to maintain fairness and event integrity.
Scoring & Ranking:
Challenges use dynamic scoring.
Higher difficulty challenges award more points.
Challenge values decrease as more participants solve them.
Teams and participants will be ranked based on their cumulative score.
In the event of a tie, submission timing may be used as a deciding factor.
Support:
If you encounter any issues during the competition, support will be available through Discord tickets and event moderators. Technical issues, challenge outages, and platform-related concerns will be addressed as quickly as possible.
