About Opencode: Opencode is an open-source hackathon organized by Geekhaven. Designed to help students start their journey in the world of open source. Aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and contributions to open-source projects across various domains. Suitable for both beginners and experienced coders. Provides a platform to enhance skills, work with cutting-edge technologies, and engage with the open-source community. Communication will be conducted on Discord, and participants are encouraged to maintain a friendly and collaborative approach, especially on GitHub. Tech Stacks: Web Development: React, Node, Express, MongoDB, Spring Boot. App Development: Flutter, Kotlin. Design: Figma, UI/UX, Prototyping, Wireframing, Typography. AI/ML: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLaMA. Cybersecurity. Game Development: Unity. Blockchain. Competitive Coding. Rules and Guidelines: Participation: Individual participation only; no teams allowed. For your contribution to be valid, you need to register in Geekhaven Events Portal where you can track your points in the leaderboard. Communication: All discussions and updates will take place on Discord. Participants must maintain respect, inclusivity, and collaboration at all times. Submission Guidelines: Pull requests must be submitted via GitHub repositories. Each submission must include: A well-documented README.md. Proper project structure and commits. Commit messages should be clear and descriptive. Project Requirements: Follow the selected tech stack. Adhere to open-source contribution guidelines. Code of Conduct: Maintain a positive and constructive environment on GitHub and Discord. Avoid plagiarism and respect others' contributions. Follow the Contributor Guidelines at all times.
