About The Hackathon:
Technophilia Hackathon 2026 is a flagship innovation challenge organized by Encrypt – The Tech Society of the College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi.
The hackathon aims to bring together innovative minds to build technology-driven solutions for real-world problems across multiple domains.
Participants will receive mentorship, technical exposure, and the opportunity to present their ideas before experienced judges.
The event will follow a hybrid format that includes online mentoring sessions followed by an offline final pitching round.

Participants can build prototypes or Figma-based solutions in the following domains:
FinTech
Sustainability and Environment
Healthcare
Defence Technology
Cybersecurity
Industrial Mobilization
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Deep Learning (DL)
Machine Learning (ML)
Eligibility Criteria:
Students from all colleges are eligible to participate.
Participants should have an interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving domains.
Team Guidelines:
Each team must consist of 2–4 members.
Solo participation is not allowed.
Cross-college teams are permitted.
Team members cannot be changed after registration.
Only one submission is allowed per team.
Hackathon Structure:
The hackathon will consist of two rounds.
Round 1 – Online Mentoring And Evaluation Round:
Mode: Online (Discord).
Date: 13 April 2026.
Shortlisted teams will participate in a mentoring session where industry mentors and technical experts will guide them in improving their solutions.
Each team will be assigned a panel of mentors and organizing team members.
Mentors will evaluate the idea, technical feasibility, and progress of the prototype.
Round 2 – Final Offline Pitching Round:
Mode: Offline at the College of Vocational Studies campus.
Date: 15 April 2026.
Shortlisted teams will present their working prototypes or Figma designs along with their ideas before a judging panel.
Teams will pitch their solutions, demonstrate their prototypes, and answer questions from the judges.
Submission Requirements:
Teams must submit a presentation (PPT) during the registration process.
Teams are encouraged to submit a working prototype.
If a prototype is not ready, teams must submit a detailed PPT explaining:
Problem statement.
Proposed solution.
Technical architecture including the technology stack used and hardware or software implementations.
Expected prototype workflow.
Important Note:
The prototype should preferably be developed before the mentoring round.
Mentors will evaluate the technical progress during the mentoring session.
Judging Criteria:
Innovation and originality of the idea.
Explainability and clarity of the solution.
Technical implementation.
Quality of the overall solution.
Real-world feasibility and performance.
UI/UX design quality.
Understanding of the problem statement.
Prizes:
The top three teams will receive cash and in-kind prizes.
Winner: ₹10,000 (Cash + Kind).
Runner-up: ₹6,000 (Cash + Kind).
Second Runner-up: ₹4,000 (Cash + Kind).
Certificates:
Participation certificates will be provided to shortlisted teams.
Winner certificates will be awarded to the top teams.
Important Dates:
Registration Start Date: 26 March 2026.
Registration Deadline: 12 April 2026.
Mentoring Round: 13 April 2026.
Final Pitching Round: 15 April 2026.
Rules:
Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
All submissions must be original work.
Teams must strictly adhere to the submission deadlines.
The decisions of the judges and organizers will be final and binding.
Any form of misconduct may result in disqualification.
