Event Overview:
Brewing Codes 4.0 – Hackathon 2026 is a 24-hour national hackathon organized by the Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET), Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida. The event is conducted in collaboration with IQAC and in association with upGrad, ICC, MIIF, and Samatrix.
The hackathon brings together innovators, developers, and problem-solvers from across the country to develop impactful solutions for real-world challenges through collaboration, creativity, and technical expertise.
Tracks:
Teams will work on one of the following themes:
AI in Healthcare and Digital Well-Being
Agentic AI and Autonomous Systems
Cybersecurity, Digital Privacy and Trust
Sustainable Technology and Circular Economy
Smart Cities and Urban Innovation
Low Code or No Code Platforms for Rapid Application Development
Team Size:
Minimum team size: 2 members
Maximum team size: 4 members
All team members must belong to the same institution
Participation Fee:
No registration fee
Participation in the hackathon is completely free
Prizes And Rewards:
Total prize pool: Up to ₹80,000
Winner Team: ₹40,000 and winner's certificate
Runner-up Team: ₹20,000 and runner-up certificate
Student Innovation: ₹20,000 (2 teams will receive ₹10,000 each) and certificates
All participants will receive official hackathon participation certificates

Competition Guidelines:
Teams must bring their own laptops, software, and necessary development tools
Teams must select an appropriate track and prepare a structured idea document for presentation
No new members can be added or removed after registration
Judges’ decisions will be final and binding
Competition Rules:
Each team must consist of 2 to 4 members, including a team leader
All team members must be from the same institution
A faculty mentor is allowed but will not be permitted inside the competition room
Team composition cannot be modified once registration is completed
Competition Structure:
Round 1 – 27 March 2026
Venue: Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus
Duration: 6 hours
Submission requirements:
Each team must submit a PowerPoint presentation with a maximum of 5 slides including:
Team name, leader and members, institution name
Problem statement and idea description
Solution, prototype, and technology used
Use cases and applicability
Judging and evaluation:
Teams will be evaluated based on predefined evaluation rubrics
Results will be announced at the end of the day
Teams not qualifying for Round 2 will receive participation certificates
Round 2 – 28 March 2026
Only top-performing teams from Round 1 will qualify for Round 2
Selected teams will be allowed to stay overnight on campus to refine their projects
Final evaluation will determine the winner and runner-up teams
