TinkerQuest'26 is a national-level hackathon organized by Tinkering Lab, IIT Roorkee in collaboration with ROVO.
The event brings together developers, innovators, builders and designers to create impactful technology projects while documenting their journey.
Participants will collaborate in teams to build innovative solutions and share progress updates on the ROVO platform, which will serve as the official platform for project collaboration and updates during the hackathon.
The hackathon will take place from 2 April 2026 to 15 April 2026, during which teams will actively develop their projects and share progress updates.

Eligibility:
Open to students and developers across India
Team size: 2-3 Members
Inter-college teams: Allowed
Inter-specialization teams: Allowed
Participants from any discipline can apply
Hackathon Format:
Registration: Participants register through Unstop.
Team Formation: Teams can be pre-formed or created through the ROVO platform.
Project Creation: Each team must create a Project Post on ROVO with the hashtag #ROVOTINKERQUEST.
Development Phase: Teams build their project and post progress updates every 2 days on ROVO.
Final Update: Teams must publish a final project update before the hackathon ends.

Minimum 2 members per team required.
Teams must post regular updates during the hackathon.
Posting updates on ROVO in each Unstop round is mandatory for evaluation and will provide bonus advantage over teams with fewer or inconsistent updates.

Projects must be original work.
Plagiarism or duplicate submissions will result in disqualification.
Organizer decisions will be final and binding.
