Campaign Booking AI Assistant Retail Media Campaign Booking Challenge: Agentic AI Conversational Interface Specs Document Background Retail media businesses often rely on multiple booking platforms to launch campaigns across channels and partners. Each campaign booking involves numerous people and manual tasks, from data entry and validation to cross-system status tracking, often leading to inefficiency and potential errors. Objective Design a unified conversational interface powered by Agentic AI to assist the Operations (Ops) team in booking and managing retail media campaigns seamlessly across multiple platforms. Challenge Enable a “single pane of glass” conversational interface through which Ops can launch and oversee campaigns across distinct retail media booking systems. Minimize manual interventions, reducing operational drag and improving booking speed and accuracy. Interface must be aware of differing platform requirements/rules and adapt or guide users accordingly. Agentic AI concepts should be used: the system should demonstrate autonomous planning, dynamic adaptation, and proactive process orchestration. Envision support for multi-step workflows (campaign creation, validation, approval, activation, and reporting) that may span several systems with contextual transitions. Build trust with Authentication and Authorization layer. Stretch Goals System can negotiate with and coordinate between multiple retail booking platforms, detecting and handling conflicts or exceptions automatically. Support natural language explanations, suggestions, or error handling for non-technical Ops users. Demonstrate real-time, synchronized status tracking and reporting across all platforms. Facilitate collaborative, multi-user interactions in the conversational flow. Deliverables Outline or functional prototype demonstrating the Agentic AI-driven conversational interface. Documentation or mockups showing how the agent manages multi-channel, multi-platform booking workflows. A logic diagram or summary of how agent goals, planning, and adaptation are applied to solve user needs. Evaluation Criteria Depth of Agentic AI application (beyond basic chatbots or rigid scripts). Clarity and creativity in surfacing and managing multi-system complexity. Anticipation of Ops user needs and operational realities. Ingenuity in combining language-based UI with intelligent automation. Notes to Participants The specification deliberately omits full details about retail booking systems—apply analysis, abstraction, and creativity to hypothesize integration points and flows. Solutions should be adaptable across a variety of booking and campaign management tools, not hardcoded to a known system. Intelligent Creative Asset Builder Hackathon Problem Statement Title: Intelligent Creative Asset Builder for Media Planning Background In today’s digital world, media planners are responsible for designing and publishing creative assets such as advertisements across multiple channels — social media, in-store displays, and mobile applications. These creatives must be visually appealing, brand-compliant, retailer-compliant, and adaptable to different device sizes. Additionally, every creative must pass through an approval process to ensure quality and safety before being published. Currently, this process is fragmented, manual, and time-consuming. There is a need for a unified application that can automate and streamline creative asset creation, validation, and approval. Problem Statement As a Media Planner, I want to be able to: Create image or video creatives using parameters such as: Brand Product ID Product Logo Templates for placement Audience type to target Call-to-action (CTA) Ensure that every creative automatically complies with: Retailer guidelines (e.g., dimension standards, placement restrictions) Brand safety guidelines (e.g., avoiding inappropriate visuals, ensuring logo usage rules) Generate creatives in multiple sizes and formats to support various devices and placements. Store and reuse assets (e.g., product logos, images, templates) in an Asset Library. Clone existing creatives into different sizes without starting from scratch. Follow an approval workflow before publishing creatives to campaigns, where reviewers can approve/reject with comments. Publish approved creatives to the campaigns. Expected Outcome Provides a creative builder with templates for generating image/video ads. Integrates an asset library for reusing logos, images, and templates. Supports multi-size creative generation (e.g., banners, mobile ads, social posts). Implements validation checks for retailer and brand-safety guidelines. Offers an approval workflow (submit → review → approve/reject). Enables publishing of approved creatives to mock or real campaign systems. Evaluation Criteria Functionality: Ability to support the end-to-end flow (create → validate → approve → publish). User Experience (UX): Simplicity and usability of the creative builder and workflow. Innovation: Unique approaches to automation, resizing, or validation. Scalability: Thoughtfulness of architecture and potential to handle large volumes. Compliance Handling: How effectively the application enforces brand/retailer guidelines. Stretch Goals (Optional) AI-powered creative suggestions (e.g., auto-generate ad copy, recommend layouts). Automated brand-safety checks using AI/ML (e.g., detect unsafe or off-brand content). Integration with external ad platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads). Support for A/B testing of creatives.
