La Casa De Code is a 24-hour innovation marathon organized by DSU-ACM, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University – Harohalli Campus as part of TechFlix Season 2.
The event is designed for builders, developers, designers, and problem-solvers who enjoy transforming ideas into working prototypes under intense time constraints. Participants will collaborate in teams to develop impactful technology solutions addressing real-world challenges across domains like AI & ML, Cybersecurity, FinTech, HealthTech, Sustainability, Web3, and DevTools.
During the 24-hour hackathon, teams will ideate, design, and build a functional prototype while receiving mentorship, guidance, and feedback from industry experts and experienced developers. The event encourages creativity, innovation, and practical implementation while fostering collaboration and learning.
Rules & Guidelines
All participants must register through the official registration platform.
Teams can consist of 1 to 3 members only.
Participants must select a track or build under Open Innovation.
Teams must build their solution within the 24-hour hackathon window.
Use of open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks is allowed.
Pre-built projects are not allowed; however, basic templates or frameworks may be used.
All projects must be submitted before the code freeze deadline.
Teams must provide:
Source code repository (GitHub/GitLab)
Project demo or working prototype
Brief documentation explaining the solution
Any form of plagiarism, unfair practices, or rule violations will lead to disqualification.
Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognized college or university.
Participants from all technical backgrounds such as Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Electronics, and related fields are welcome.
Students from any year of study can participate.
Participants must register individually or as a team of maximum three members.

Participants can build solutions under the following tracks:
Open Innovation – Build any impactful technology solution solving a real-world problem.
AI: The Submission That Can't Lie – AI system for verifying claims in pitch decks and submissions.
DeFi: Credit for the Creditless – Blockchain-based alternative credit scoring and micro-loans.
GenAI × GTM – AI-powered marketing campaign generator and analytics engine.
Cybersecurity: Moving Target Defense – Automated dynamic defense systems for network security.
Agent Arena – AI agents competing to autonomously build products.
Behavioural Analysis – On-device behavioral insights platform similar to a “digital personality mirror.”
Utility Tokenization – No-code token creation platform for communities and organizations.
Event Format
Stage 1 – Registration: Participants register individually or as teams via the registration portal.
Stage 2 – Hackathon Begins: Teams will start building their solutions once the hackathon begins.
Stage 3 – Mentor Round; Mentors will interact with teams, review ideas, and provide guidance.
Stage 4 – Evaluation Round 1: Teams present their progress and receive feedback to improve their projects.
Stage 5 – Final Submission: Teams submit their final prototype along with documentation and repository.
Stage 6 – Final Demo & Judging: Teams will present their project demo to the judging panel.
Stage 7 – Winners Announcement: Top teams will be selected based on judging criteria.
