About the Event:
StatHack is an online data science hackathon hosted on Unstop, where participants tackle a real-world problem using data analysis and machine learning. Over 72 hours, teams compete to build the most effective predictive model and climb the leaderboard.
Problem Statement:
A single problem statement will be provided.
Teams must build a model and generate predictions using the given dataset.
Evaluation Metric:
The problem will use one specific evaluation metric (e.g., RMSE, Accuracy, F1-score).
Scores are based on how well predictions perform on the test dataset.
Leaderboards:
Public Leaderboard
Based on 30% of the test data
Updates throughout the competition
Private Leaderboard
Based on the remaining 70% of the test data
Revealed after the event ends
Determines final rankings
Submission Guidelines:
Submissions must be in .csv format
Only the Team Leader can upload submissions on behalf of the team
If multiple submissions are allowed, only the latest submission will be considered
