About the Event
IOThon is an IoT-based innovation hackathon under Metacognition, UNIFEST 2K26, where participants design, build, and present real-world solutions using Internet of Things technologies.
With an open theme, the event encourages creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on prototyping. Participants will develop functional IoT projects using sensors, microcontrollers, and connectivity to address real-life challenges.
Event Format
Round Structure
The competition will be conducted in multiple stages:• Mentor Round – Teams will present their idea and receive feedback • Final Round – Teams will showcase their working prototype and final solution
Participants must successfully complete each stage to qualify for final evaluation.
Registration ChargesSolo : ₹ 149 Team (2 - 4 members) : ₹ 499
NOTE : If you are registering as a team (more than 1 member) be sure to select the payment fee of 499 on the payment page , if you by mistake choose the ₹ 149 option and you have more than 1 member then your team will be disqualified on the day of the event.In case of any confusion regarding this feel free to contact the organizer

Participants can register individually or as a team
Eligibility & Rules
Open to all colleges
Each team must develop an original IoT-based solution
Projects must include working IoT components such as microcontrollers, sensors, and connectivity
Guidelines
Internet usage is allowed for development purposes
Unsafe components (high voltage, fire hazards, etc.) are strictly prohibited
All teams must submit their prototype and presentation within the given timeline
Participation in both mentor and final rounds is mandatory
