1. Rules & Regulations
1.1 Eligibility
Open to all students
Team size: 2–4 members
Solo participation allowed (not recommended)
1.2 Registration & Team Formation
Teams must register before the official deadline
Team composition cannot be changed after registration closes
A participant can be part of only one team
1.3 Project Requirements
Projects must be original and built during the hackathon
Problem statements will be released 2–3 days before the hackathon
Development can begin only after problem statements are published
Code must be hosted under GDG’s official GitHub organization
Open-source libraries/frameworks/APIs are allowed (with proper acknowledgment)
Pre-existing projects will result in disqualification
1.4 Code of Conduct
Maintain a respectful and professional environment
No harassment, discrimination, or misconduct
No plagiarism or copying code
Collaboration between teams is strictly prohibited
1.5 Submission Guidelines
Teams must submit before the deadline:
Source code (in assigned GDG GitHub repository)
Working demo/prototype
Comprehensive README (project details, setup, features)
Late submissions will not be accepted.
1.6 Presentation & Demo
5–7 minutes presentation + 3–5 minutes Q&A
Code walkthrough + live demo required
Formal PPT not mandatory
All team members encouraged to participate
1.7 Technical Requirements
Bring your own laptop and required hardware
Internet will be provided (offline backup recommended)
Organizers not responsible for participant-side technical failures
1.8 Intellectual Property
Participants retain full ownership
GDG may showcase projects for promotional purposes
1.9 Judging & Results
Judges’ decisions are final
Results announced at the end of the hackathon
Organizing committee’s decision is binding in case of disputes
1.10 General Rules
Food and refreshments will be provided
ID cards must be worn at all times
Organizers reserve the right to modify rules with prior notice
