About The Event
The Social Hackathon ’26 is the 5th edition of a National-Level Hackathon hosted by CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
Founded in 2019, this hackathon brings together innovators, developers, and changemakers to solve real-world societal challenges.
It is a 24-hour innovation challenge focused on building impactful solutions across both software and hardware domains, while also offering strong opportunities for learning, networking, and career growth.

Round 1 (Online): Idea submission and shortlisting
Round 2 (Offline): 24-hour on-campus hackathon
Separate evaluation for hardware and software projects
