Capture The Flag (CTF) is a high-octane cybersecurity hunt where participants must navigate a digital minefield to exploit vulnerabilities and secure encrypted data. It is a relentless test of technical stealth and logic, challenging participants to think like a hacker to crack codes and outmaneuver systems before time runs out. The competition distills complex disciplines of professional cybersecurity into short, measurable exercises, benchmarks offensive and defensive strategies in a gamified environment. Eligibility: All college and university students are eligible to participate. Team Size: 3 members. The event is conducted entirely online. Timeline: Event Duration: March 15th, 2026 (12-hour contest window) Problem Statements: Jeopardy-Style Challenges Format: Online flag-based competition. Release: Challenges will be released directly on the platform on the day of the contest. Categories: Challenges will span various domains including: Web Exploitation: Finding and exploiting vulnerabilities in web applications. Cryptography: Deciphering encrypted messages and breaking ciphers. Forensics: Analyzing digital artifacts to uncover hidden information. Reverse Engineering: Deconstructing binaries and scripts to understand their logic. Binary Exploitation: Exploiting memory corruption vulnerabilities to gain control of a system. Submission Requirements & Deliverables: All solutions must be submitted in the form of 'flags' (specific strings of text) through the official competition portal. Points are awarded based on the difficulty of the challenge solved. A live leaderboard will track rankings in real-time, with time taken used as a tiebreaker for equal scores.
