AI Speed Build – 15-Minute Micro Web App Challenge
Eligibility:
This event is open to all students of the college.
Students from any department are eligible to participate.
Participation is individual only.
The event is beginner-friendly, but open to all skill levels.
Only currently enrolled students of the college are eligible.️
Event Format:
This is a Buildathon-style challenge.
Mode: Completely Offline
Duration: One-Day Event
Participants will be given a problem statement on the spot.
There are 100+ predefined problem statements.
Each participant will receive a different problem statement.
Problem statements will focus on micro web applications.
Process & Time Structure:
Each participant will be allocated a total of 20 minutes:
15 minutes to build the application
5 minutes for jury review and interaction
The event is strictly time-bound.
No extra time will be provided under any circumstances.
Build Guidelines:
Participants must build a web application only.
The application should be a micro application (small, focused, single-purpose).
Participants may use any Generative AI tools, no-code tools, low-code tools, or development platforms.
There is no restriction on tool choice.
Originality is mandatory and will be a key evaluation factor.
Participants must build the application during the allocated time only.
Judging & Evaluation:
Judges will be physically present and evaluate the application live.
Participants must:
Show the working output on the screen
Evaluation will be based on:
Application functionality
Problem understanding
Logical thinking and approach
Effective use of tools
Basic UI/UX clarity
Judges will evaluate applications based on merit and execution, not blindly.
Jury decisions will be final.
Rules & Regulations:
Participation is strictly individual.
Internet usage is allowed.
Participants must strictly adhere to the 15-minute time limit.
Any violation of the rules may lead to immediate disqualification.
The organisers are not responsible for paid tool subscriptions.
Participants are responsible for arranging and managing their own tools.
If participants do not have access to paid tools, free tools are recommended.
