Tech Savishkaar 4.0 is a National-Level Hackathon organized by the Department of Information Technology, Vasavi College of Engineering (A++ NAAC). In association with ACM Chapter (Hyderabad Deccan), IEEE (CIS/GRSS Vasavi Student Chapter), CSI (Region 5) and DSAC-IT.It is designed to challenge participants across problem-solving, ideation, and real-world application development, encouraging innovation that blends creativity with strong technical execution. The hackathon follows a three-round elimination format, progressing from coding fundamentals to idea validation and finally to full-scale application development. Problem Domains: Participants can choose problem statements from the following domains: Agritech Remote Sensing - Environment and Sustainable Development HealthTech Cyber Security Eligibility: Open to undergraduate students from any recognized college/university in India Inter-college teams are allowed Inter-specialization teams are allowed (students from different branches can form a team) Each participant can be part of only one team Team size: Minimum 1 and Maximum 4 members Competition Format & Process: Round 1: Coding & Ideation Round (Online) Date: 1st February 2026 Duration: 3 hours (Section 1: 2 hours 30 minutes | Section 2: 30 minutes) Participant: Team Leader (teammates may assist during the round) Platform: Unstop Format: Section 1: Online coding test with three DSA-based questions Section 2: Ideation round including domain selection, one-page abstract submission, project title, and proposed tech stack Evaluation Criteria: Coding: Plagiarism-free solutions, correctness, accuracy, and efficiency Ideation: Clarity of the problem statement, originality, feasibility of the solution, and team preparedness Outcome: Shortlisting of teams for Round 2 Round 2: Prototype Demonstration (Online) Start Date: 04-02-2026 End Date: 08-02-2026 Participant: Team Leader (teammates can assist during the round) Submission: PPT with video explanation Focus: Problem identification Innovation & uniqueness Feasibility and impact Outcome: Teams shortlisted for the final round Round 3: Build & Present Prototype (Offline) Date: 21-02-2026 Start Time: 8:30 AM End Time: 5:30 PM Venue: Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad Participants: All team members Format: Full prototype development Final demo and presentation before the jury Outcome: Final evaluation and winners declaration Rules & Guidelines: Teams must adhere strictly to the timelines of each round Round 1 and Round 2 will be attempted only by the team leader, while team members are allowed to assist and collaborate during these rounds.
