MSystic Code is an online coding challenge designed to test the problem-solving skills, debugging ability, and logical thinking of students. This is not a simple coding contest — each problem contains intentionally placed mystery errors and twisted hint comments that participants must decode to identify and fix the logic. The event consists of 5 interconnected coding tasks. The twist? The output of each corrected code becomes the input for the next code. This chained-flow structure ensures contestants must think carefully, debug accurately, and maintain consistent logic throughout the entire challenge. Whether you’re a beginner sharpening your debugging skills or an experienced coder looking for a unique challenge, MSystic Code offers an exciting opportunity to prove your mastery. Event Structure: The challenge contains 5 coding problems, each provided with A partially incorrect code snippet Hidden bugs (logic errors, syntax errors, runtime traps) Comments with indirect or twisted hints Participants must: Understand the intentionally flawed code Identify & correct the mistakes Produce the correct output Use that output as input to the next problem ️Rules & Guidelines: The event is conducted online via Unstop. Participants must complete all 5 questions within the given time. Each code will be evaluated based on: Correctness of output Successful debugging Clean and efficient logic The initial input for Problem 1 will be provided. The output of Problem 1 → Input for Problem 2 → and so on. No external code templates are allowed; participants must debug the provided code. Plagiarism or discussing answers with others during the event is strictly prohibited. Decisions of the organizing team will be final. Participants can use any supported language available on Unstop (C,Java, Python). Multiple submissions are allowed within the time limit. Who Can Participate? Open to all engineering students, irrespective of year or branch. Individual participation only.
