Game Jam
The Game Jam is a 48-hour offline game development challenge, conducted as a flagship event of the college fest by the Game Development Community.
This event encourages in-person collaboration, creativity, and rapid prototyping among participants.
Guidelines:
General Requirements:
Theme Compliance:
The game must be clearly related to the announced theme.
Creative interpretations are allowed; complete deviation may affect judging.
Playability:
The submitted game must be playable from start to finish.
Game-breaking bugs may negatively impact evaluation.
Content Restrictions
Games must NOT include:
NSFW content
Offensive material
Discriminatory or hateful content
The intent is to ensure games are playable by everyone.
Registration:
Once the team has registered at the college, they are free to build the game anywhere.
All team members must be present during registration at the college.
Directly submitting a game to itch.io without college registration will result in disqualification.
Violation of these rules may lead to disqualification.
Platform & Compatibility Requirements:
Target Platform:
The game must be runnable on PC (Windows).
Submissions must include a Windows-compatible build or executable.
Prohibited Platforms:
VR-based games are not allowed.
Accessibility:
Games should be playable using commonly available input devices.
Browser-playable games are encouraged over downloadable builds.
Tools:
Participants may use any game engine, framework, or technology.
No restriction on programming languages.
Assets & Resources:

Self-created assets
Third-party assets, provided:
Proper licensing is followed
Credits are given where applicable
Asset Creation
Creating everything from scratch is not mandatory.
Teams choosing to do so are encouraged and appreciated.

Participation Format:
Solo and team participation are allowed.
Team participation is encouraged.
A participant CANNOT be part of more than one team.
Participants registered in multiple teams or both solo and team formats will be disqualified.
Team Size:
Maximum team size: 5 members
Larger teams may face coordination challenges within the limited time.

Submission Platform:
All submissions must be uploaded directly to itch.io.
Linking to external websites or download sources will result in disqualification.
Submission Integrity:
Once submitted, deleted submissions will be ineligible for judging.
Each submission must include:
A playable Windows build
Game description
Controls and instructions
Credits (if applicable)
Deadline & Grace Policy:
No grace period will be provided.
Submissions must be completed before the official deadline.
Participants are advised to allow sufficient time for uploading and verification.
Judging & Evaluation:
Final results will be calculated using an 80–20 evaluation system:
Judges’ Evaluation — 80%
Games will be evaluated on:
Theme interpretation
Gameplay & mechanics
Creativity & originality
Technical implementation
Overall polish
Game Dev Community Rating — 20%
Members of the Game Development Community will rate the games.
In case of ties or disputes, the judges’ decision will be final.
Disqualification Conditions:
A team or participant may be disqualified for:
Violating content guidelines
Submitting VR-based games
Missing the submission deadline
Deleting the itch.io submission
Providing external download links
Multiple registrations by the same participant
Submitting a game without college registration
Multiple submissions of the same game (both teams will be disqualified)
